Managing Partner
Gary Baumgartner
Gary Baumgartner is a Managing Partner at Southwest Beacon Investments (SWB). Mr. Baumgartner has successfully managed investments in a variety of commercial real estate properties since 2012. Mr. Baumgartner is also Founder and Chairman of GJB Inc., a private investment firm. In 2018, he founded SWB to expand its network of select investors and invest in larger, more complex, and profitable commercial projects. Mr. Baumgartner has successfully invested private equity in a variety of sectors including, but not limited to, energy, biotechnology, consumer technology, defense, and commercial real estate. As GJB Inc.’s investment strategy has evolved and grown, significant focus has shifted to private equity real estate. Mr. Baumgartner founded SWB to act as a capital partner for commercial real estate projects in Southwestern Texas. Since 2018, SWB and GJB Inc. have invested in numerous projects including value-add multi-family, speculative commercial office, speculative retail, build-to-suit industrial, and mixed use. SWB acts as a vehicle for a limited group of select investors to earn superior returns in a short time period. In addition to his roles with SWB and GJB Inc., Mr. Baumgartner is a member of several advisory boards, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In addition, Mr. Baumgartner is a Senior Advisor to the President and CEO of CSIS. In this capacity Mr. Baumgartner serves on several commissions focused on U.S. energy policy and trade.

Adam Moyers
Adam Moyers is a Partner at Southwest Beacon Investments (SWB) and Chief Financial Officer at GJB Inc. As Partner at SWB, Mr. Moyers is involved in the execution of all SWB investments. As Chief Financial Officer at GJB Inc., Mr. Moyers has management responsibility over the company’s financials. Since joining GJB Inc. in 2013, Mr. Moyers has served in a range of roles including accountant, financial manager, business development consultant, and many additional roles. Over the years, Mr. Moyers has cultivated deep working relationships with development teams in southwestern Texas. In 2018, after several years of successful commercial real estate investment projects, Mr. Moyers and Mr. Baumgartner formed SWB as a vehicle to bring value and superior returns to a growing network of investors throughout the U.S. Prior to joining GJB Inc. in 2013, Mr. Moyers was an accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm. Mr. Moyers received a BS and MAcc from the University of Missouri.
